在卡塔尔世界杯期间，随着各国球队的激烈角逐,足球的魅力吸引了全世界，运动的神奇力量也带动了每一个人。为了丰富同学们的线上学习生活，让大家充分感受运动的快乐，国际部学生会在中学部发起了“线上世界杯，每日运动打卡”活动。
When the world was gripped in the excitement of the 2022 FIFA World Cup, THIS participated in its own series of exciting challenges designed and carried out by the school’s secondary Student Council – the “World Cup Daily Challenge.”
“无体育，不清华”，各类体育活动在国际部从未间断，以世界杯为契机，国际部同学和老师们的运动热情也再次被点燃。活动不仅丰富了老师和同学们的线上学习生活，也让整个国际部大家庭联系得更加紧密。
Using the joy and magic of sports, the series of challenges not only enriched our remote learning experience, but also brought the school community together. It was the true spirit of the motto, “No sports, no Tsinghua!”
活动中56名参与者一起，通过每天不同主题的挑战，将自己的运动小视频、艺术作品和烹饪美食图片等分享在线上，让大家共同享受运动的活力和生活的乐趣。
More than fifty participants (staff and students) submitted mini-videos and photos sharing their enthusiasm for fitness, art, and cooking through the different themed challenges each day. We are sure more were active but just a bit shy to post. No matter what, we definitely had fun together.
HAPPY SPORTS
活动充分展现了国际部大家庭对学校核心价值观的践行，大家在打卡趣味活动时，和支持相同球队的同伴组成小组，共同累计打卡分数，在关注自身和同伴们的身心健康的同时，相互激励，增强了团队合作精神，也充分展现了积极阳光的学习和生活状态！
This activity is but one example of how the THIS community upholds our core values. In the themed activities, participants supported their favorite teams, took on the challenges with their peers, engaged in friendly competition, all the while staying focused on taking care of their own physical and mental health.

世界杯期间有人说，其实生活就像是世界杯，赛场上的球员们经历着四年又四年的积累和历练，我们每个人的生活也是如此，每一个四年都可能会成就人生中的里程碑。对于初中的同学们来说，再一个四年后，大家会进入新的学习阶段，高中同学们也会开启成长的新篇章。正如同学们所说，那就让我们继续热爱运动，继续欣赏生活的美好，收获更灿烂的人生吧！新的一年，我们希望大家继续热爱体育，热爱生活中的点滴，预祝大家新年快乐！
It was said that life is also like the World Cup. The players demonstrate their accumulated experience and growth every four years. This cycle is also similar to our students – each leading up to a milestone in life. Four years later, our middle school students start a new stage of study and our high school students will begin a new chapter in life. Whenever we are in life, THIS and THIS StuCo wishes everyone a continued love of sports, appreciation for life’s little moments, and HAPPY 2023!
