Established in March 2009, Tsinghua International School is an integration of Chinese and Western education and culture. The school aims to provide the education that introduces western education philosophy with acculturation. THIS has the primary, middle and high school and currently we have more than 600 students. Our students come from more than 20 countries and regions including the US, UK, and Canada.

Why THIS?
Requirements on Identity
The applicant must be a foreign national, hold a foreign passport, and have a valid Chinese visa. The applicant can also be a permanent resident of Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan-holding a Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan permanent identity card and a permit to travel to and from the mainland. Applicants who meet the requirements may apply. Applications will not be accepted if the status conditions are not met.
Application Grades
Grades opening for admission are: first grade for new students, and grades 2-11 for transfer students.

Throughout the academic year, THIS hosts a series of group events in which parents and potential students may take an extended tour of the THIS campus. Additionally, private tours can also be arranged on a case-by-case basis. Please contact Admissions for more details.

Admission Events
Open Day
At THIS, “Open Days” are an opportunity for potential students and parents to get a glimpse of what goes on inside THIS classrooms. Additionally parents may attend a handful of different talks and lectures about the THIS curriculum and approach to education. Please follow our WeChat official account by searching “清华附中国际部” or scan the QR code below. THIS will hold Open Days in March and November every year, we will release Open Day Invitation Letter one or two weeks before the event, please register to attend.
