Warm Greetings

Teachers were greeted by our wonderful students with flowers in hand at the school entrance. The warm greetings showed students’ appreciation and love for their teachers. The teachers were touched by the surprise prepared by the students and parents.

The Parent Council prepared a small yet extravagant reception afterschool. The decorated venue, handmade snacks, fun and lively interactive games, carefully selected small gifts …… The parents’ gratitude for the teachers was reflected in every detail.

Student representatives from different primary, middle, and high school grades expressed their feelings about their teachers through song. A senior from the Class of 2023 rounded out this sweet moment with a thank-you speech expressing their appreciation for teachers’ dedication and patience over the years along with a bit of sadness with graduation quickly approaching.

We are lucky to have met all the loving parents! Parents’ appreciation will inspire our teachers to do better and raise the students better. Every Teachers Appreciation Day is a great opportunity for all the THIS staff to feel touched and happy. This is the best reflection of the close relationship between home and school. Thank you to the Parent Council Chair and every member! The Teachers Appreciation Day was so awesome from the external format to the internal warmth, full of details, creativity, and love. So touched by everyone’s efforts, staying up late and working hard for days on end. When all the teachers attended the event, the parents were still taking pictures, playing music videos, greeting the teachers, and still working diligently. For this, the teachers were really grateful from the bottom of their hearts.

Teachers Appreciation Day was a wonderful series of events that reminded teachers just how special and supportive our parent community is at THIS. I had numerous conversations with first year and veteran teachers that were so grateful by the love and care all THIS parents share with us each and everyday. Teacher Appreciation Day was a continued extension of that generosity from parents.
