5月12日，国际部学生受邀参加了由海淀区教委国际办主办的海淀区第二届中小学国际学生多元文化展示活动，与来自20多个国家的300余名中外学生一起，通过丰富多彩的形式，感受中国传统文化的魅力，体会世界多元文化的交融。
On May 12, THIS students were invited to participate in the 2nd Multicultural Exhibition of Primary and Middle School International Students, Haidian District, sponsored by the International Office of Haidian District Education Commission. Together with more than 300 students from more than 20 countries, they experienced, through various activities, the charm of traditional Chinese culture and the intermingling of other world cultures.

小学部同学们带着精彩的节目亮相多元艺术文化节演出。为了帮助孩子们呈现出最好的演出效果，中文组的张笑笑老师、黄平老师、魏荣老师，利用课余时间给小演员们精心编排、指导，从舞蹈动作到道具背景，力求最大程度展现出孩子们的风采。经过一个月紧锣密鼓的排练，小演员们代表我校在多元文化节的舞台上出色地完成了演出。
With the support from Ms. Smiley Zhang, Ms. Ping Huang, and Ms. Rong Wei, our primary students gave a wonderful performance with their elaborate choreography and props.
《读唐诗》表演
“Reading Tang Poems” Performance
因其深厚内涵与精彩的舞台效果，三年级全体同学带来的《读唐诗》被选为开场舞进行表演。草长莺飞，莲歌悠扬；鹅之引吭，雪之感伤。观众们在优美的韵律中被带入了唐诗的世界，和着孩子们翩跹的舞蹈，听塞上风声萧瑟，看边关云海茫茫。
Because of its profound connotation and wonderful stage effect, grade 3’s “Reading Tang Poems” was chosen as the opening dance. The grass grows long and the warbler flies, the lotus song is melodious; the goose draws its voice, the snow is sentimental. The audience was transported to the world of Tang poems with its beautiful rhythm. With the dancing of the children, they listened to the sound of the wind and watched the sea of clouds on the border.

Song Performance —— “Childhood”
四、五年级的李嘉懿（上图左）、Avery Padilla（上图中）、Keira Cusack（上图右）三位同学的歌曲《童年》，同样带来了精彩的舞台呈现。观众们被三位小歌手的多才多艺所惊艳，不由自主地伴着清脆的歌声和纯熟的乐器伴奏打起了节拍。
The song “Childhood” by Dimitrios Chatzimanolis Li (left in the picture), Avery Padilla (middle in the picture) and Keira Cusack (right in the picture) from grades 4 and 5, also was a wonderful showcase. The audience was amazed by the versatility of the three young singers and could not help but beat along with the crisp singing and the pure instrumental accompaniment.
孩子们的节目获得了台下观众们热烈的掌声，这是对小演员们精彩演出的认可，更是对清华附中国际部的学生风采的认可。
The children’s program received a warm applause – a recognition of the young performers’ wonderful performance and a recognition of Tsinghua international student style.

THIS students’ artworks exhibition
在多元文化节的“美美与共——我眼中的中华文化”活动中，国际部中学部的同学们在东方艺术老师高响云和马瑛老师的指导下积极参与，在全区近百件作品中我校学生凭借她们的手工及绘画作品获得一等奖、二等奖和优秀奖的殊荣。
In the Multicultural Festival “Chinese Culture in My Eyes” artwork exhibition, THIS students, under the guidance of Eastern Art teachers Ms. Xiaoyun Gao and Ms. Grace Ma, won the first and prizes for their handicrafts and paintings among nearly 100 entries from the district.

In the multicultural exhibition, the active participation and wonderful performance of THIS students not only showed their both vigorous energy and positive style, but also fully demonstrated the achievements of THIS international education and its authentic integration of East and West. We hope that the students will continue to play an active role in promoting Chinese culture to the world with their global vision and with the strong cultural confidence.
