五年级毕业季公益活动（一）｜播种未来，献礼成长！

从种树这件事，我学会了要巍然屹立。在我们种树的时候，那还只是一颗小小的树苗。然而，它最终会长成一棵参天大树。要为你自己感到光荣，为你所取得的成就感到自豪。一定要记住，在任何时候，都会有成长的空间。

From things like planting trees, I learned to stand tall. When we plant the tree, it is just a little sapling. However, it will eventually become a grand tree. Be proud of who you are, be proud of what you’ve accomplished, and remember, there’s always room to grow.

我觉得这次植树活动特别好。既可以让我们学会爱护环境，也可以享受公益活动的乐趣 ，还可以提高我们的团队协作能力和团队精神。参与活动，让我们的生活变得多姿多彩、充实有趣，在毕业前做一件有意义的事，这将在我们的成长中留下珍贵的记号。

I think this tree planting activity is very good. Not only it can let us learn to care for the environment, but also we can enjoy this special activity as we practice team cooperation and team spirit. It makes our lives colorful and interesting, and leave our mark by doing something meaningful before we graduate.

4月1日，天朗气清，我们所有5年级的同学，在老师和家长的帮助下在校园里种植了5棵李树。五棵树寓意着我们在国际部的五年成长时光。桃李不言，下自成蹊，李树还寓意着作为学生的我们，将伴随着教学楼里的书声朗朗一起成长。树木吸取阳光和水分，我们也在老师的带领下从书本中汲取知识。未来当这些小树长高长大时，我们也会成为对社会有用的人。我相信到那时，再回头看我们那日种下的小树，我们也会联想到昨日一起的欢愉。我感谢老师们组织这次活动，给予了我开心难忘的回忆。

On April 1st, the sun was shining and we planted five trees behind the teaching building. With the help of teachers and parents, the trees were planted by the fifth-year students. Five trees mean this is our fifth year in school. The prunus salicina, we planted, represents students in the tradition of China. These trees will grow up with us day by day. They absorb sunlight and water from the soil every day. When they grow into big trees, we will also grow into useful people to society. From now on, when we look at these big trees, we will think of our happy time on that day. We thank the teachers very much for organizing this. I am glad to be participating in these events.

我们为什么要种这些树？首先，我们知道树木可以帮助我们保护大自然。这次植树对我们的成长也是意义深远。通过植树活动，我们学会了与他人合作，体会到了帮助他人、一起合作也是一种享受。无论你在整个植树过程中做了什么，大家都积极参与，并且乐在其中。最后，我们要感谢帮助我们共同完成这项活动的老师和家长们!

Why we planted these trees? We know that planting trees can help us make cleaner air. But why is planting trees very meaningful for us? I think planting these trees can make us grade 5 students more cooperative with others. Because all of the grade 5 students helped with planting these trees. Helping others, being cooperative can be also enjoyable in some way. Whatever you did in this whole process, grade 5 students had fun. Lastly, we all need to thank our teachers and parents that helped with this project!

In the equal and harmonious academic atmosphere of THIS, the knowledgeable and amiable teachers have made the students form a community full of vitality and enthusiasm for learning.

相信这些小树会在孩子们心中深深地扎下了根，不管以后走得多远，孩子们都可以回到国际部这几棵小树旁，找到出发时的动力。在那枝繁叶茂的背后，是当初最真实的向往，毫无杂念的热爱。

I believe that these little trees will take root deeply in the hearts of children as well. No matter how far they go in the future, they can go back to the small trees at THIS and find the motivation to set off. Under the trees are the most real yearning and love without distractions.
