New Goals for the New Acdemic Year

培训开始，由清华附中国际部执行校长李文平向回归校园的全体国际部大家庭成员表示欢迎。首先，李校长对国际部暑期的各项工作表示了高度认可，对工作中全情付出的教职工们表示了由衷的感谢。暑期中，中外籍领导团队持续付出，完成了学校调查问卷及年度反思、教师成长计划、新学年课表和疫情防控等多项重要教育教学部署。中外籍教师团队共同协作，在教学方面也持续深入探索。同时，行政团队的老师们不懈努力，一方面，为确保外籍教师及时安全入境，高效地处理了入境涉及的签证、人事等诸多外事对接事项，悉心为外教们的入境生活提供了全方位的支持。另一方面，行政团队还为校园设备更新以及开学筹备做了大量工作，以保障开学工作顺利开展，为孩子们提供一个焕然一新的校园环境。

The training began with Executive Principal MS. Li Wenping welcoming all the THIS members back to campus. Principal Li started by accomolimenting the excellent work during the summer and expressing her heartfelt gratitude to the staff members who continued to work hard. During the summer, THIS Chinese and foreign leadership teams kept making efforts on completing a number of important teaching and learning issues, including the school survey and annual reflection, teacher growth plan, new school year class schedules, COVID practices and so on. The Chinese and foreign teachers worked together to explore teaching concepts in depth. Meanwhile, the administration team worked tirelessly. On the one hand, to ensure the timely and safe arrival of foreign teachers, the team efficiently handled many foreign affairs matters such as visa and HR issues so as to provide all-round support for the foreign teachers’ life in China. On the other hand, the team also did plenty of work to upgrade the campus equipment and prepare for the opening of the new school year.

此外，作为清华附中国际部的首届暑期夏令营，李校长对此次夏令营的成功举办表示了充分肯定，精彩纷呈的课程和活动得到了来自学生和家长们的高度认可和积极反馈。李校长表示，是大家的认真踏实和用心细致，让国际部能够稳步向前，同时专业团队不断壮大。

In addition, Principal Li expressed her full recognition of the success of the first THIS Summer Camp, which received high recognition and positive feedback from students and parents. Principal Li said that it was everyone’s seriousness and dedication that enable THIS to move forward steadily, while the professional team continued to grow.

校长助理白文婷在全体培训中着重讲解了新一学年清华附中国际部在办学愿景、使命和核心价值观中所做的变化。每一个细微的改进之处都来源于国际部中外籍教师一同深入探讨、反复斟酌得来的智慧结晶，只为能够更加贴切、精准地为国际部的教育教学明确方向，从而使学校成为中西合璧教育的典范。

During the training, Assistant Principal Ms. Bai Wenting highlighted the changes made in THIS vision, mission and core values. Each minor change was made through in-depth discussions and repeated deliberations among the Chinese and foreign teachers. All these were made with the purpose of clarifying the direction of THIS teaching and learning in a more precise manner, as well as guiding THIS to become the model for harmonizing the best of Western and Chinese education and culture.
