清华附中国际部稻香湖校区家长代表首次会议
THIS DL Campus Parent Council Meeting
2020年12月，清华附中国际部稻香湖校区的家长代表们第一次在稻香湖校区的会议室中欢聚一堂。在会议上，学校领导们首次和家长代表们见面，执行校长李文平、学术校长Mr.Holder和副校长依兰出席了会议。相互熟识之后，领导们对于家委会的职责、宗旨做了介绍。
In December 2020, parent representatives of THIS Daoxiang Lake Campus gathered for the first time in DL campus to hold the first meeting. At the meeting, school leaders met with parent representatives for the first time. Executive principal Li Wenping, academic principal Mr. Holder and vice principal Yilan attended the meeting. After getting acquainted with the parent representatives, the leaders introduced the duties and purpose of the parent council.
清华附中国际部家委会旨在为清华附中国际部的管理层、教师、家长和学生之间促成一种积极的相互关系, 以支持对学生的教育和发展，支持学校的使命、愿景和核心价值观。学校希望家委会能够实现三种功能：参与功能、配合功能和沟通功能。清华附中国际部非常重视家委会的建设，希望通过不断完善学校、家庭、社会三位一体的教育体系，促进学校各方面工作的提高，促进家庭教育与学校教育的协调一致，促进学校的发展及学生的健康成长。
To support the Mission, Vision and Core Values of the school and to support the education and development of all students at Tsinghua International School (THIS) by fostering positive relationships among the school’s administration, teachers, parents and students. The school identified three functional key words for the PC, which are participation, cooperation and communication. The school pays great attention to the PC, hoping that through fostering positive relationships consistently among the faculty, staff, administration, parents and wider community, we can improve all aspects of school work, promote the collaboration of family education and school education, and advance the development of our school and healthy growth of our students.
清华附中国际部家委会自2015年正式成立以来，充分发挥了家委会的职责和所应实现的功能，通过形式丰富，富有爱心的活动设计和资源共享，通过家校间紧密的合作，为学校、老师、学生们以及家长群体本身，都带来了许多宝贵的经历和珍贵的回忆。其中的精彩活动包括新教职员工的欢迎早餐、才艺表演秀、谢师周、家长学校、家长课堂、嘉年华、学校纪念品商店以及各种各样的分享会等等。
Since its official establishment in 2015, the THIS parent council has fully committed to the duties and functions of the parent council, through rich forms, caring activity design and resource sharing, and close cooperation between family and school. THIS PC has brought many precious experiences and precious memories to the school, teachers, students and parents themselves. The exciting activities include welcome breakfast for new faculty and staff, students’ talent show, teacher appreciation week, parent school, parent classroom, carnival, school souvenir shop, various sharing sessions, and so on.
对于稻香湖校区家长代表们的加入，清华附中国际部家委会主席vicky也特地来到了新校区，热烈欢迎各位代表们。首先，她对于过去的2020一年中，在疫情的影响下，家委会为学生活动所做的坚持和努力做了介绍。其次，她向新加入的家长代表们介绍了目前家委会的基本运作方式，但鼓励家长们集思广益，不局限于已经做过的活动和模式，充分发挥已有的资源和渠道，结合自己的资源特色，为孩子们带来丰富多彩的活动，为学校建设注入新鲜的活力！

首届稻香湖校区的家长代表在自我介绍、相互认识之后，对稻香湖校区学生们目前所需求的课外活动展开了讨论，并在会后针对稻香湖校区学生目前所需的课外活动、社会实践和讲座项目等形成项目小组。
After introducing themselves and getting to know each other at the meeting, the The parent representatives of THIS Daoxiang Lake campus discussed about the possible extracurricular activities on the Daoxiang Lake campus. As the result of heated discussion, several project subcommittees are formed spontaneously among the new parent representatives after the meeting, focusing on different areas, for example the extracurricular activities, social activities, lecture projects and so on.
本届稻香湖校区家委会除了常设职位外，代表们还各自形成项目小组，分别有图书小组、义工组织小组、学生活动小组、学校活动小组、校外资源小组、家长学校小组、商店小组等，由家长们自发组织。家委会副主席邢匀表示，家委会将带领小组为学生们带来丰富多彩、符合他们所需的学习资源，共建良好的家校共育氛围和合作模式。
In addition to the permanent positions of the THIS Daoxiang Lake Campus Parent Council, subcommittees formed in this campus includs a book group, a volunteer organization group, a student activity group, a school activity group, an off-campus resource group, a parent school group, and a school store group. The subcommittees will help the parent council to bring students a variety of learning resources that meet their needs, and build a good family-school co-education atmosphere and cooperation model.
接下来，稻香湖校区的家长代表们将积极开展各项活动，与学校一起形成合力，共同为学生的学习生活带来全方位的帮助，为学生的成长增加精彩纷呈的经历，为学生的发展贡献出家长们集体的力量。
In the future, the parent representatives of the Daoxiang Lake campus will actively carry out various activities to form a synergy with the school to bring all-round help to the students’ full development, and to add wonderful experiences to the students’ life by the collective strength of parents.
