Classes

Life Science is a 7th grade course that provides students with the opportunity to learn that Life science is the study of living things. The life sciences comprise all fields of science that involve the scientific study of living organisms, like plants, animals, and human beings. Students will learn about environmental and global issues which affect our world. Emphasis will be placed on skill development to provide students with the basic tools they need to be successful in the course.

AP Biology is a rigorous and demanding course, which is the equivalent of an introductory college biology course. Content will be covered in more depth and greater expectations will be placed on interpretation and analysis of information than previous biology courses. In addition, statistical analysis of data and modeling of concepts will be expected. A significant amount of studying must be completed at home to allow time for discussion, labs, and inquiry during class time.

Ms Williams is the sponsor the yearbook. She works with student designers and photographers to publish the school yearbook each spring. She also works with the Scinex club. This club offers students the opportunity to dive deeper into the world of science, explore possible science careers, and work to improve their science knowledge.
