Sports Day—Friday, April 30

Dear Primary School Parents and Families,

This Friday, April 30, 2010, is Sports Day at Tsinghua.  The Primary School students will participate in the Opening Ceremony for this special day.  Unfortunately, parents are not invited to attend the Opening Ceremony because there is not enough space to accommodate all parents and students. 

Following the opening ceremony, Primary School students will return to the THIS school building for some fun activities.  Students are welcome to bring board games to play with their classmates.

All students will be required to arrive at THIS at 7AM on Friday morning.  The school buses will meet students at their regular morning pick-up location ½ hour early.  Friday will be a half day for Primary School students.  Dismissal time for the Primary School will be at 12 Noon.  Parents should arrange for their children to be picked up no later than 12 Noon.  For those Primary School students who take the bus home, the school buses will leave THIS at about 12:10. 

All students in the Primary School must wear blue pants on Friday.  Blue jeans are acceptable.  We will be purchasing T-shirts for each Primary School student to wear during the opening ceremony.

Please let your child’s classroom teacher know by Tuesday morning if you child will not be in school on Friday.
