Dear Secondary Families:

I sincerely thank you for helping us to make it to the end of Semester 1 of this school year.  I have watched your children ask questions, work together, create new memories, and finish up their efforts for half of the school year. 

A couple of updates:
Students will be able to check their semester grades and comments for Semester 1 on PowerSchool as soon as we upload this to the system.  Since Finals ended just yesterday, we expect that they will be available early next week.  Currently, PowerSchool Access is inaccessible for students and parents.  Please tell your child to start checking if the system has returned from Monday, January 16.  Hard copies of semester grade reports will be distributed to students following their return to school on February 6.  If you must have a hard copy before then, please email awang3@tsinghua.edu.cn.  We will try to fulfill your request as soon as possible, but please be mindful that the school will be closed for the entirety of the vacation.

Also, we will be upgrading PowerSchool to the latest version, PowerSchool 7.  This upgrade will take place over the holiday, most likely during the week of January 23.  During that time, PowerSchool will be inaccessible to all users, including faculty and staff.  If you cannot access PowerSchool, please be patient.  We expect that the latest version of PowerSchool will include improvements that make it easier to use for all students, families, and teachers. 

Upcoming dates to remember:
Last Day of Semester 1: January 13, 2012
Spring Festival Holiday: January 14-February 5.  School will resume on Monday, February 6.
