Q: How much are the scholarships?
A: THIS and Fu Dan International School will together raise a total sum of 10,000,000 RMB as basic fund to award students with outstanding moral and academic performance. The school will provide 10%-50% of tuition as scholarships for outstanding students. As the prestige of THIS grows, we will have more funds for scholarships.
Q: What are the evaluation criteria for the scholarships?
A: The school will organize an evaluation committee and give a comprehensive evaluation of the students at the end of each semester. The school will also consider the family situations of students to decide who will get the scholarships.
Q: What are the evaluation procedures for the scholarships?
A: The scholarship evaluation committee will consist of seven judges, including teachers of our school, representatives of the parents’ association and student government, as well as professors from Tsinghua University. We will ensure the fairness of the scholarships in this way, and we will continue to learn from and bring in the advantages of the foreign evaluation system.
