Q: Will Tsinghua International School be able share the academic resources of Tsinghua Univeristy?
A: To satisfy with the needs of some advanced students, we will choose some Tsinghua University related platforms for the students to study. For students who want to go to Tsinghua University or other top universities in China, we will offer tutoring courses for the exams to our international students. The school will also invite famous visiting professors to offer courses or give lectures to our students.
Q: What kind of entertainment, sports activities and facilities does the school provide for the students?
A: The school provides students with various after class activities like gymnastics, basketball, football, table tennis, tennis, baseball, swimming, and so on. Students can choose from these activities according to their interests. Besides the facilities that the school has currently, we may also share some specific activities with Tsinghua University.
Q: How will the school schedule after class activities?
A: Our school will arrange the time for after class activities weekly and will help to organize corresponding groups, and it will also offer instructions for the students. We hope to interest students and give them the opportunity to explore their specialties in this way.
Q: Does THIS provide community service opportunities?
A: Our school will arrange and encourage the students to participate in community service. There are community service courses for the middle school and high school every year. Some alumni from Colombia working for the American government, international associations or financial institutions will help to provide volunteer working opportunities and oversea internship in multinational co-operations.
