Q: What does the school calendar look like? When will the holidays be?
A: Mainly we will base our school calendar on American practice, but students will also have Chinese official holidays. At the same time, we will arrange special holidays according to the nationality and custom of our students. The school calendar will be given to parents two weeks after school starts every year, as is the practice both in China and the United States. We also have summer camps and consultations/summits with famous universities like Harvard University for students. Parents can go to our website for the school calendar for the year 2009-2010.
Q: How will the day be scheduled?
A: For now, class time is from 8:00 in the morning to 3:00 or 3:30 in the afternoon. We will also have some after school programs according to the needs and interests of the students. The exact time will be on the school bulletin board.
Q: Does the school provide accident insurance for students, and how does the school reimburse the medical insurance billing?
A: The school will buy the same accident insurance for international students as for the students in Tsinghua High School.
