A: Students in grades one through twelve, who are at the proper age and have the requisite preparation, who are healthy in both body and mind, who hold a foreign passport (not a mainland Chinese passport) and reside in China may apply for admission to the school. A: August 24, 2009.

Q: What will the students be tested on in the placement test and interview? Is it difficult?

Q: When will the interview and placement test be? Will the applicants do it together or do it separately?
A: Students will take the test separately. Parents should make an appointment for the test to be administered. The interview and test will take place within 3 to 10 days after the appointment.

A: The results will be announced one week after the test and interview.

A: Parents can register now, and there is no due date for now. If we have any vacancies, students may apply at any time, however, they still need to be interviewed.

Q: Can children go to kindergarten at an earlier age? What’s the age requirement for first graders? Can a 5-year-old go to first grade?
A: We do not have a kindergarten in our school, and we do not encourage children to go to school at an earlier age. Usually, children can go to first grade when they are six (If the child is close to six years old, he/she can take the admissions test and interview. Admission will depend on the results).
