THIS Sports Day | 无体育，不清华！鲜衣怒马，不负青春！

9月24日，秋风婆娑，金秋的阳光肆意挥洒在校园的每一个角落，国际部一年一度的运动会在清华附中的操场上如期举行。“无体育、不清华”，当这响亮的口号再次响起，全体师生都已准备好用积极向上、阳光自信的奋斗之姿为成长再添上浓墨重彩的一笔。

On September 24th, along with the light breeze of autumn the golden sunshine splashed onto every corner of the Tsinghua campus. The annual THIS Sports Day was held as scheduled and the motto “No Sports, No Tsinghua” rang out loudly again. Every THIS teacher and student was ready to learn, laugh, and play.

随后是中学部各班级亮相，大家穿着自己设计的班服，或是舞动青春，或是齐声高喊充满活力的班级口号。 看台上，欢呼声此起彼伏，青春力量也扑面而来。

Sports day opened with several groups either dancing or chanting class slogans. This showcase of youthful energy is only one of many examples of the Spartan Spirit. From the stands, you can hear the loud cheers and feel the shared community pride at THIS.

Terry Fox Run

国际部每年的传统项目是义跑活动—Terry Fox Run。我们相信“行胜于言”的清华精神可以融入生活的方方面面，公益也不例外。年复一年，义跑的内在含义已经为同学们所熟知。每一年，大家都充满热情奔跑着，通过自身行动，鼓励和帮助那些需要的人，这就是国际部连续举办义跑的初衷，也是一届届学生对清华精神的传承。跑道上是他们一圈圈的足迹和一串串清脆的笑声。孩子们的善良热心，让这场运动会有了更多的温暖和深度。

“Actions speak louder than words” can be integrated into all aspects of life, and public welfare is no exception. Year after year at THIS, the Terry Fox Run has become a cherished tradition for the entire THIS learning community. The school collectively run with enthusiasm, commitment, and purpose and in turn, raised money to help those in need. The kindness and generosity of our students, their families, and our faculty give warmth and deeper meaning to Sports Day.

接下来就是活力四射的趣味运动项目啦！小学部共有十二个趣味运动站点，让孩子们充分沉浸在欢乐的运动中。彩色降落伞、培根争夺、小小消防员……五花八门的名字背后是一个个创意十足的活动，让大家玩得不亦乐乎。

The activity stations, led by the grade 12 students, started shortly after the last lap was completed! The primary had twelve to enjoy. Colors, Steal the Bacon, Little Fire Fighter……

Secondary School

中学部共设十五个趣味运动站点，每个班的同学轮转进行各个项目。飞盘高尔夫、蒙眼过海、趣味拔河、传球接力……妙趣横生的活动不仅考验着同学们的身体协调能力，同时也需要大家充分发挥团队合作精神和异想天开的创造力。

For secondary, there were fifteen stations. Frisbee Golf,

Blindfolded Cross the Sea, Tug of War, Wacky Relay….. These activities not only challenged the students’ physical coordination, but also required them to exercise great teamwork and show creativity.  

在完成所有趣味运动项目后，今年体育组老师还特地组织了中学部各年级足球赛。场上，“足球小将们”尽展运动天赋，发扬团队精神，密切配合。场下，同学们不遗余力地喝彩、加油。最后还有一场老师和毕业年级学生的友谊赛。老师们尽情投入，激烈争夺；学生们也当仁不让，或攻势凌厉，或严密防守。但不论哪一方进球，场上师生都击掌庆祝，共同欢呼。

In the afternoon, the PE department organized rotating soccer matches for the secondary students with homeroom teams playing against one another. On the field, the “soccer players” showed their athletic talents and sportsmanship, while off the field, their peers cheered and rallied. As a finale, there was a friendly match between teachers and the Class of 2023. The teachers put in their best efforts and fiercely competed for every goal. The seniors did not let up, attacking and defending. But no matter which side scored, teachers and students celebrated with high fives and cheers. 

文明精神，野蛮体魄。运动会这一天，国际部全体师生沉浸在户外运动的欢乐海洋中，尽情享受着秋日阳光和运动带来的幸福感。操场上，欢呼与呐喊相交织，动感潇洒的跳跃与拼搏向上的青春相碰撞，这是国际部学子对拼搏向上的体育精神的生动实践。

Civilized spirit, healthy physique. On the sports day, all the teachers and students were immersed in the sea of joy of outdoor sports activities, enjoying the autumn sunshine and the happiness. On the playground, cheers and shouts were intertwined, and the dynamic and dashing jumps collided with the striving and upward youth, which was the practice of the striving and upward sports spirit by the THIS students.

斯巴达勇士们，希望大家带着在运动会中展现出的阳光和正能量，继续投入到学习和生活中，不断追求卓越，茁壮成长，成为更好的自己！

THIS Spartans, we hope that with the bright sunshine and positive energy of this year’s Sports Day, you will continue to devote yourself to your studies and healthy lifestyle, continue to pursue excellence, grow stronger, and become a better you!
