We are pleased to inform parents that a distinguished educator from the Bank Street Graduate School of Education, Stan Chu, will be spending the entire week of March 29 at THIS. Mr Chu will conduct many professional development events for teachers as well as two information sessions for parents.
THIS will hold two separate information sessions chaired by Mr. Chu: one session for parents of students in the Primary School and a second session for parents of Secondary School students. For more information about the Parent Information Sessions,please login to our BBS.
Mr. Chu has been a professor and advisor at Bank Street for over twenty years and he currently directs the Intern, Assistant and Working Teacher Fieldwork Programs at Bank Street. This program is currently the largest fieldwork program in teacher education. In addition, Mr. Chu has extensive experience in International teaching training programs. Most recently, Mr. Chu has conducted teaching training workshops in Nepal, Rwanda, Kolkata and Shanghai.
We are very honored to welcome Mr. Chu to THIS and we look forward to seeing parents at these Parent Information Sessions.
